Dominatrix: New Part Time Job?
I ran across a news article this morning at Fox news pertaining to a recent surge of women who are taking up the profession of being a dominatrix. I’ve shared this in my posts here so all of you can read it.
Though I can admire their ambition, I have some concerns with the idea of someone diving in to make money without a clue of what they are doing. Safety issues for one. There are acts in bondage that can be dangerous if you don’t know what you are doing. From the sounds of this article, it appears that women think this is some easy role playing act as in a school play.
Let’s take an enema for example. Too much water in the intestines can cause a person to go into a coma. How many of you are aware of that? Or caning… hitting a person in the wrong spot with a cane can cause a blood clot that can kill them. Anybody aware of that? I can go on and on. Things that I’ve learned over the course of 25 years in the lifestyle.
While I admire these ladies for persuing this area, I do also hope they are smart and learn about the profession prior to ending up in a situation they never anticipated.

Mmhmm, I think this is definitely a step in the wrong direction for the entire BDSM community. Don’t get me wrong, I think more people getting involved in it is a good thing, of course, but at the point where someone causes injury or death, and it goes to court, regulations will start coming down the pipe from state governments, and things will get worse.
States may see more strict laws like those in Texas, where you won’t find any sort of shop legally selling BDSM equipment.
